Our Mission
SCSA's mission is to provide a safe, fun, and competitive environment where kids can grow their love for the game of soccer with an emphasis on community, inclusion, and player development.
Our Vision
SCSA's vision is to prepare the children of our community for the future by providing them with the opportunities to develop important life skills through the beautiful game. Whether it is teamwork, communication, confidence, or self-worth, we believe that these skills will guide our players toward future success in soccer and in life.
SCSA intends to achieve this vision by encouraging the members of the community to take an active part in the growth of soccer in the southern Indianapolis area. By establishing volunteer opportunities, strategic partnerships with local businesses, and adherence to Indiana Soccer on statewide initiatives, our club seeks to provide a sense of community and responsibility to our players. Additionally, we encourage our players to participate in both club and community initiatives; promoting the self-confidence necessary to achieve their current and future goals.
Our Values
We, the proud parents/relatives of an SCSA soccer player, promise to be a model spectator at games in which our son/daughter/relative is a participant, as well as at other games where he/she is present with us.
We will:
-
Encourage fair play
-
Cheer in a positive manner for all players, regardless of which team they represent
-
Not criticize the performance of my child or his / her teammates
-
Not criticize the opponents of our team
-
Not embarrass my own player via my behavior
-
Allow the coaches to do the coaching
-
Show respect for the game officials by not criticizing them or undermining their authority in the eyes of our players
-
Display good sportsmanship as a positive example for my player
-
I further understand that I will not only represent my player, but also the team, our club, and the game of soccer and will conduct myself accordingly. We understand that the Coach and the other parents/relatives of the team will hold us accountable for our actions and behavior.
